Launceston Tennis Club

On Friday the 27th of October Wadebridge tennis club hosted clash of the club's, a competition between Wadebridge, Launceston and Bude. In addition to the usual ratings competition the clash offers participants from each club a point for entry, a point for each match played and a point for each match won.

The club with the most points win clash of the club's and a cup which will reflect there efforts.

Wadebridge tennis club had the most entries and started as host and favourites, Wadebridge were the eventual winners, Launceston the runners up and Bude in third place.

A dry day allowed for a full day of uninterrupted tennis and each category had enough entries to go ahead, events in mini red, orange, green, junior boys and junior girls kept organiers James Brobin and Rachael Stacey on there toes.

My many thanks to all the entries and Jaime Hawkey who brought a long some home made goodies for the hungry participants and the odd parent and coach or two.
