Finals Day 2006 - Sunday 17th September

Mens Singles

Graham held off a spirited 2nd set charge from Kevin to win the battle of the brothers and secure his 7th club singles title.

Result: Graham Worth bt. Kevin Worth 6-1, 7-6.

Ladies Singles

Result: Sarah Statton bt. Ruth Cornish 6-3, 6-2.

Ruth put up an excellent fight, defending well and making Sarah work hard for the win.

Boys Singles

Result: Rory Carr bt. Adam Baker 6-4, 6-2.

Adam played very well but Rory's consistency and mobility won through in the end.

Girls Singles

Result: Hayley Frayn bt. Emma Baker 6-0, 6-3.

Hayley was just too good in this one.

Mens Plate

In his second match of the day Rory narrowly edged 2 very long sets.

Result: Rory Carr bt. Peter McAughey 6-4, 6-4.

Ladies Plate

In a very close match, Hilary's ability to consistently find the lines was the deciding factor. Brenda's shouts of "Don't you DARE go in" and "Not Again!" summed it up perfectly.

Result: Hilary Rhodes bt. Brenda Hooton 7-6, 6-4.
